In this project, we are required to draw Farnsworth House. We are introduced about design communication skills through architectural graphics and develop skills in visualization and communication of architectural idea,space and form. I have to draw the orthographic drawings which include plan, one section and two elevations.Also , one axonometric drawing and perspectives drawings ( one point and two point).

This was one of the hardest project that I have done before because you have to focus on the detail when you're drawing. To make sure the floor plan's boxes are all in the similar sizes, you have to make sure the measurement of the surrounding walls are correct . The other struggling part that I encountered is axonometric drawing . It was my first time drawing axonometric drawing and I was lost at first . After watching the video given, I had better understanding and I started to draw and of course I have to make sure the measurements are all correct too. Beside than plan and axonometric drawing, I didn't know how to start drawing for the perspectives drawings. I want to thank Dr Lia for sending the video so we could have a clearer image on how to draw them out. It wasn't as hard as I expected and I think I enjoyed drawing the perspectives drawing due to the satisfaction of being able to draw it correctly.Last but not least, I genuinely think it's a good practice for us to let us know what would be included in our architectural design in the future.
